Pannonian Challenge

Pannonian Challenge is a biggest traditional extreme sports competition in the region. Every year, more and more spectators and contestants are gathering, main cash prizes are increasing and big shots from the BMX and skate world are coming. We try to organize great parties and unforgetable memories. Most of the people that participated in the previous years decided to come back every year.
Pannonian association
Pannonian association was founded at the and of 2004. with the goal of uniting extreme sports activites and subculture of young people. The need for founding the association came from the activities of Cycling club Osijek, which has been working on extreme sports promotion and development through organizing Pannonian challenge contest which includes following disciplines: Skateboard, BMX, In-line skates and Mountin bike.
Since it is not just a cycling contest Pannonian association has been founded by the members of the Cycling club Osijek and extreme sports fans.
About the competition
During nine years, six of which under the name of Pannonian Challenge, competition got international character through the participation of contestants from: Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Chech Republic, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia, Monte Negro and Greece. The fact that we have contestants from distant countries like: Argentina, we can add intercontinental character to the Pannonian Challenge.
About the competition
With its attractive programme each year competition attracts more and more spectators, and in 2005 that number exceeded 2000 visitors per day. Great interest of all participants and visitors attracted attention of the media: RTL, HTV, NOVA TV, STV, Glas Slavonije, Jutarnji list, Večernji list, and interest of sponsors like: Lura, VIP Net, Red Bull, Osijek-Koteks, Osječka Pivovara, Vodovod Osijek and great stimulus of the Osijek city municipal authorities.
